The Patel Workshop is
a local wood turners workshop, artisanal and authentic in its craftsmanship.
 OUR
'SAVOIR-FAIRE' :
We manufactured turned wooden articles, principally out of beech and box wood.
SPECIALITIES :
Turned wooden spoon out of beech and box wood : satl shovel, mustard spoons,
slotted spoons for olives, honey dipers,...
EQUIPMENT :
The workshop is equipped with automatic
lathes (Locatelli, Monneret). We are also equipped with other machinery
such as drills and rotary machines.
OUR
MATERIAL : THE WOOD
Principally the boxwood
and the beechwood. The boxtree is a small shrub found in plentiful
quantities in the Jurassian undergrowth. |

HISTORIC : The Turners workshop
was created in 1950 by Marc Patel. Today the small family business
is directed by Nicole Patel and her son Marc.
LOCALISATION : Hidden on the
jurassian hill sides, nestling between the rocky cliffs and purching
on the borders of the Jura and the Ain regions, somewhere in the
meandering hill sides lies a tiny picturesque hamlet named Montcusel. |
